Reviews and Ratings
This resort offers a unique and tranquil experience, set a bit away from the hustle and bustle, with beautiful views and a friendly atmosphere. While the rooms are comfortable and clean, the beach is quite rocky and not ideal for swimming. The dining options are delicious but may feel slightly pricey for locals. Overall, it's a great place for relaxation, but be aware of the beach situation.
My experience at the resort was quite mixed. On one hand, I found the staff to be incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially the manager who went above and beyond to assist me. The views from the dining area and my room were breathtaking, and the food was freshly prepared and delicious. However, the facilities, particularly the pool, were showing their age, and the overall cleanliness of some areas left a bit to be desired. The location was a bit remote, making it necessary to hire transportation to get around effectively.
The resort is perched high up, providing a breathtaking sea view, which made our stay quite peaceful and relaxing. The ambience was quiet, ideal for a retreat, and the cleanliness of the property was on point. The facilities, like the pool, were enjoyed but the long staircase to navigate might not be ideal for everyone. Overall, it was a good experience with some room for improvement, especially in accessing the beach.
My stay at this resort was quite mixed. While I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the lovely owners who were accommodating, some aspects left much to be desired. The pool area wasn't appealing, and there were a few issues with the shower's water temperature. However, I found it to be a good value for a tranquil getaway.
Our stay at Villa de Pico started off on a frustrating note due to misinformation about parking and location. The mountainous terrain provided stunning views, but the lack of a decent beach was a letdown. On the plus side, the remote setting offered a charming retreat, though the service from the staff left much to be desired. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place because of the unprofessional conduct and the hassles we encountered.
